Emeritus Professor Alan Johnson AM MA (Hons), MEdMgmt, BAppSc, PhD, DSc, Managing Director Research Management Services International shares his insight on the topic. Despite the level of importance given to the development of Early Career Researchers it always seems to be a great challenge to help them advance their careers. Elsevier together with Professor Alan Johnson are collaborating to introduce a series of initiatives aimed at facilitating the advancement of the Early Career Researcher. The first initiative was the creation of a mentoring booklet. This booklet is design to be a useful guide to career advancement.
